Toolbox is part of Team Science Training

Dr. Marisa Rinkus (C4I Postdoc) led a Toolbox Dialogue Initiative-based Team Science workshop, with Dr. Michael O’Rourke (C4I Director), Dr. Edgar Cardenas (C4I Postdoc), and Dr. Stephen Crowley (Boise State University), on August 11th from 12pm-2pm (eastern) as part of the Team Science Institute hosted by the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences at Colorado State University. The 2-hr workshop entitled, “Team communication: How can we get more out of talking?”, focused on the importance of intentional and purposeful dialogue for communicating across disciplines. Participants learned how to build the necessary skills for facilitating effective dialogue in typical team interactions by practicing reflexivity and perspective taking while engaging in interactive dialogue.
